This weekend, Michael attended events all over the Denver Metro area and in Boulder to build support for his campaign and Democratic candidates in the area.
DENVER — Michael Bennet spoke with voters in Boulder, Denver, Littleton and Westminster at canvassing and grassroots events this weekend, continuing his work to build the broad base of supporters across the state that will carry him to victory this November.
On Saturday, Michael campaigned at a canvass launch for Colorado State Representative David Ortiz, a canvass kick-off for the Boulder County Democratic Party, a grassroots event at Upslope Brewing Company in Boulder, and an event with the JeffCo Democratic Latino initiative.
At the canvas kick-off in Boulder, Michael told supporters, “I’m going to be right there with you knocking on those doors, making those phone calls, making sure we blow the doors off this election, because there’s too much at stake. We have to take the decision away from Mitch McConnell, we have to take the decision away from Donald Trump. And by doing what you’re doing, you put the decisions in the hands of working people all across the state of Colorado and all across this country.”
“Michael has treated every election he’s run in like it’s going to be the closest election of his career, and he’s taking nothing for granted,” explains Bennet for Colorado spokesperson Georgina Beven. “With a woman’s right to choose and the future of our democracy on the ballot, he knows that it’s more important than ever to win this election.”
With only five weeks left until the election, Michael and his campaign are working tirelessly to build support and energy for Democratic candidates, to ensure a Democratic victory this November.
