In Q2, Michaelās campaign raised $3.3M and reported more than $8m cash-on-handāthe largest amount of money Michael has ever had heading into the general election.
Today, Michael Bennet announced that his campaign will report $3.3M in total receipts over the second quarter. This figure is historic for the Senator, as it marks the biggest fundraising quarter of his career. All while refusing to accept any corporate PAC or federal lobbyist money.Ā
Michaelās campaign cash-on-hand is now more than $8M, nearly ten times the $840,000 cash-on-hand of his opponent.
āThese Q2 fundraising reports underscore the differences between the two candidates in this race,ā explains Bennet campaign manager, Justin Lamorte. āWhile OāDea spent the first days of the general election relaxing at his multi-million dollar vacation home, Michael crisscrossed Colorado to fire up large crowds of volunteers.ā
The average grassroots contribution to Michaelās campaign in Q2 was just $23.71, with 95% of contributions being less than $200. During this three-month period, more than 25,000 donors chipped in, and in total, since Michael officially announced his run for reelection, more than 70,000 donors have made contributions to support his reelection campaign.
āThe overwhelming support Michael received this quarter certifies that Coloradans want to send him back to the Senate to keep delivering for the hard-working families of our state,ā says Bennet for Colorado spokesperson Georgina Beven. āThe campaign is energized for the road ahead; Michael and his team are working hard, taking nothing for granted, and ready to win in November.ā
