DENVER — On Wednesday evening, CBS4 aired a candidate profile of Michael, featuring his interview with political reporter, Shaun Boyd. During their conversation, Michael discussed his accomplishments of delivering for Colorado in the Senate, his thoughts on the future of democracy, and his goals for the future if he’s reelected in November.
“I truly believe that we are going to lose our democracy if we can’t create an economy that’s actually fair to people, and where people feel like they’ve got opportunity,” explained Michael during his interview with Shaun. “I think the poor kids in rural Colorado and the kids that I used to work with in the Denver Public Schools deserve a hell of a lot better than what they’re getting.”
