Michael Bennet Adds Planned Parenthood Action Fund to his Long List of Campaign Endorsements for his Advocacy to Fight in the US Senate for Reproductive Rights

Michael touts campaign endorsements from three statewide abortion rights advocacy groups in Colorado, further affirming to Coloradans who they should vote for in November to protect reproductive freedoms in the US Senate.  

DENVER ⁠⁠—  Planned Parenthood Action Fund recently announced its endorsement of Senator Michael Bennet’s reelection campaign as a nod to his history of supporting reproductive rights and freedoms in the US Senate. 

“We are proud to receive this endorsement from Planned Parenthood Action Fund ahead of the general election because it emphasizes to voters that Michael is committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose,” says Bennet for Colorado spokesperson, Georgina Beven. “Michael feels grateful to live in a state that has already protected a woman’s right to choose in state law but his Republican opponent opposes Colorado’s Reproductive Health Equity Act, which makes it even more imperative for Coloradans to support Michael this November so he can continue fighting to protect reproductive rights in the U.S. Senate.”

Every year, Planned Parenthood Action Fund endorses political candidates who are champions of protecting reproductive freedoms. The 2022 endorsements come after the recent radical Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe Vs. Wade. A woman’s right to choose is increasingly under attack and Michael’s recognition from Planned Parenthood Action Fund proves to Coloradans that he will always fight to safeguard reproductive rights in the U.S. Senate.

Colorado statewide reproductive justice groups COLOR AF and Cobalt also endorsed Michael’s campaign earlier this year.
