Major ad-buy for Spanish-language audiences touts Bennet’s campaign strength in reaching more audiences.
DENVER – Today, Senator Bennet released his first Spanish-language TV ad ahead of the general election. The ad, titled “Logros,” touches on Michael’s record of delivering for Coloradans and working to build an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthiest few.
More than 1 million Latinos call Colorado home, with approximately 53% who speak a varying level of Spanish (Latino Leadership Institute); reaching this audience in Spanish is a key strategy to connect and engage with voters before ballots drop.
Audiences will start seeing Michael’s newest ad on Spanish-language broadcast TV networks, including Telemundo and Univision in Denver and Colorado Springs this morning, Wednesday, August 31, 2022. The campaign does not have an English version of this ad, This ad is ONLY running in Spanish.
Although “Logros” is Michael’s first Spanish-language TV campaign ad ahead of the general election in November, earlier in the cycle, in April 2021, he released a Spanish-language digital ad. That ad, titled “Imagine,” ran on statewide digital platforms after Michael’s expanded Child Tax Credit was signed into law.
The campaign has worked diligently to engage with all communities across Colorado since Michael announced his plans to run for reelection.
Michael’s nearly 200 campaign endorsements include Colorado Latino leaders like Secretary Federico Peña, Colorado Senator Julie Gonzales, and activists like Alex Sánchez of Voces Unidas Action Fund. Michael has also hit the trail with Latina candidates Yadira Caraveo, who is running for U.S. House in Colorado’s 8th District, and Elizabeth Valesco, who is running for Colorado’s House District 57.
The launch of Michael’s newest Spanish language ad is the campaign’s fourth ad released ahead of the general election on TV broadcasts in Colorado’s major media markets. Following Q2 fundraising totals, Michael held a 10:1 cash-on-hand advantage over Joe O’Dea and continues to outspend O’Dea on television statewide.
With less than 70 days until November 8, the Bennet campaign is running in full force. Successful events held all over the state throughout August, drawing big crowds, have proven that Michael and his team are running a strong campaign.
